Definitely a post-colonial thing.
Gombeens and cute hoors are a waste of space. There's little entrepreneurship or a willingness to build self-sufficiency in industry in this culture. It's all about grabbing farming grants...getting into the civil service to get a cushy number...building one-offs and housing estates in every field, thus enriching farmers, builders and local TDs alike. That and grabbing as much as humanly possible from the EU to build motorways though Connemara- again enriching farmers, builders and TDs.
These people are glorified scumbags who take, take and take...contributing little to the betterment of Ireland as a whole. It's all about easy money, by any means necessary.

It seems like every damn company wants their own subscription service these days - including various online newspapers and newsletters which used to be free. The only good value subscriptions left are music streaming services such as Qobuz and Spotify as they effectively have 99% of the music ever created available on their platforms. Otherwise subscription services are becoming a complete ripoff...if not scam-like in some cases. These greedy cunts are literally just asking for a major revival of pirating content.
Any company hiding formerly free content behind paywalls under plans with "Plus" or "Premium" in the title can go fuck themselves as far as I'm concerned.

When Sinn Fein finally get their shot in Leinster House, watch as RTE drop the eternal hostilities and bow down as low as any congregation in an RC church.
